The Film: The Holiday

Dumped and depressed, English rose Iris, a Journalist from Surrey agrees to swap homes with similarly unlucky-in-love Californian movie trailer editor Amanda, for a much-needed break.

Iris finds herself in a palatial Hollywood mansion, while Amanda navigates the lanes of a picture-perfect Surrey English countryside and villages.

With both trying to forget their troubled love lives, until love finds them when they both bump into local lads perfect for a romantic pick-me-up. But both ladies realise that the imminent return home may end the relationship and new found loves.
