When two brothers find out they might lose their house and so might their friends, the group of young misfits, are desperate to find a way to keep their homes in a harbour town under siege by greedy land developers, trying to demolish a neighbourhood and turf out the residences, to turn their side of town into a luxury golf resort.
In an attempt to help their parents and raise enough money to stop the bank from foreclosing. The Goonies, follow an old treasure map in a spectacular underground realm of twisting and treacherous passages, and outrageous booby traps on a hunt for a long-lost pirate ship, full of gold doubloons and gemstones.
